I purchased from MS Store. I have cloned and replaced my HD to a M.2 SSD. Windows 10 starts OK and very fast and every APP and Game starts OK. BUT NOT FS2020? The Microsoft Store Page opens up instead. What’s up with Microsoft, NOTHING but problems. I cant even start FS2020 from inside the Store page even though it says it is INSTALLED. I am SO ANGRY, its always Microsoft that gives us the HEADACHE. Come on MS, FIX THIS!
Welcome on board. See if you still have some updates waiting - windows and drivers. Install any available updates first and then try again. I hope that helps.
Go to "Settings, Apps
Scroll down to MS Flight Simulator
Click “Uninstall”
Then go to MS Store and install it again.
I did this and “Uninstall” deleted the FS2020 on my C: drive.
"Uninstall did not delete the additional 170 GB.
Tell it where FS2020 is installed if it asks.
It will not be downloaded again.
Thanks if I uninstall FS2020, then it would take a massive amount of time to re-install it again, and maybe still have same problem? Microsoft Store’ say the game is installed, so does the XBOX App, but it will not start? Seems hopeless to try and get hold of a Microsoft XBOX Tech agent to help me?
