The problem has returned. The Xbox app keeps logging me out, and the simulator asks me to log in. Sometimes it logs in and continues, sometimes it doesn’t; it just closes. Is there any official statement from Asobo? When will they fix it? I can’t find any information about it.

The question is, why is not everybody affected? What is causing this problem?
One of the biggest obstacles in trying to get this corrected is, the Xbox app is not MSFS, and does not fall under MSFS’s control.
MSFS can only pass this along to the group in charge of the Xbox app, and it is that groups issue to fix.
Obviously they do work very closely to report issues, but MSFS cannot correct the issue, nor are they the only program that uses the Xbox app.
Other programs have their own issues to put forward as well.
I can assure you that MSFS does understand the frustration, as do I.
It has happened to me a few times as well, and is indeed annoying.
As mentioned, there is nothing MSFS can do.
Can also confirm this issue has returned on my side as well. I’ve reported it internally and it is escalated, but as mentioned above - its ultimately an Xbox Gaming Services issue, not much that can be done MSFS-side.
At this point im unninstalling gaming services before launching the sim every single time. Pausing the updates didnt work.

Just got an update for Ms gaming services despite of disabling it in the store and it seems, the problem is solved for me at the moment. MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 are starting without a problem.
