FS2024 problems with free look and zoom

Are you on PC or Xbox? I tried unplugging my yoke on Xbox and it made no difference.

I’m on PC and after I found out the POV stick on the right was the culprit I set a deadzone of 0.15 (not less) and now pov and freelook both work! (this has to be done in the “Tweak Action Curve” setting which you can find if you click on the settings icon behind the binding so not in the general yoke settings)
If it ain’t work for you, unplug all other controllers and see if freelook start to work.

ok so on each line ?

When i press the toothed wheel beside the POV
there is no value to set except the general one

No, that is the left pov stick and in external camera menu I guess.

What I mean is the right pov/joystick on the right side of the yoke and the settings are in Cockpit Camera.

MSFS 2024 is a nightmare for me, can not pan with the mouse in cockpit is just one of the problems.
And why the Cessna 172 classic was not in I do not want the glass cockpit.

If you own the 172 classic, it’s one of the variants under the G1000 version when you choose “Customize”. It’s called Basic.

Good thinking on this one - worked perfectly for me!

Glad I could help mate. Cheers

Extremely false it does not work well on a console controller anytime you hold right click it just starts spinning around like crazy

How are you right clicking on a console controller?

This whole 2024 is so stupid. I have limited time for flying and all I do is browse to solve stutters and binding controls because nothing works.

OMG this post was a life saver. I have the same TWCS throttle and had the same issue where the mouse was useless for looking around the cockpit. Adding some deadzone to each axis totally fixed it. I am not sure how you figured that out but I am very glad you did!!
