Hello,
I bought MSFS2024 since first day of launch. I own an Alienware R15 PC with Windows 11, i9 processor, 64GB of RAM, and a 4090 graphic card. I am using MSFS 2024 with a Meta Quest 3. Both my PC and my Quest 3 are updated to the last release of everything (Windows, Quest OS, MSFS 2024, all my PC apps and Quest 3 apps).
Since the last MSFS 2024 update I cannot touch the cockpit buttons using the Quest controllers, whatever the system I use (“touch beam” or direct touch).
Plus sometimes, I cannot activate the cockipt view (only external view).
Plus it seems that the quest controllers buttons settings are not active while in game, but the left and right sticks are working fine (so only some buttons do not work).
In that state, as I use only MSFS 2024 in VR, I cannot use MSFS2024 since now several weeks, and I am obliged to go back to MSFS2020.
So this bug resolution is major for Quest VR players.
Do you have the same issue ?
Did you find a workaround ?
Thanks
Strange that nobody answered … Anyway I just opened a ticket on the MSFS support website.
I’m using this settings
I don’t know if it will works for you
Thanks a lot for your answer. My settings are OK, they were working fine before the last MSFS2024 update. My problem is that MSFS does not use my settings. My controllers do work for the left and right sticks, but the buttons settings is not used by MSFS … only a few buttons work.
I opened a ticket on the MSFS support website today, they did not reply, they just put my ticket in “Solve” status !!!
This is really a shame, THEY JUST DON’T WANT TO CORRECT REPORTED BUGS !!!
As I only play in VR, I am now obliged to play with MSFS 2020 and to forget the high price paid MSFS 2024, and Microsoft just don’t care.
I think I have a found a workaround.
At first, I reinstalled the game. It did not change my issue as the game kept all my parameters.
So I reseted to factory all the game parameters. Now it works. But I have to reconfigure everything (except my controllers settings which is a good thing).
