In most of the 2020 aircraft I tried so far, I have no pilot in external view.
Is this a common problem, or is it just me?
And is there a way to include a pilot?

They were removed on late devalpha to prevent some glitches.
They will be back eventually.
I reported this to Asobo, bug is tracked and they are working on solutions.

I saw something this morning that CAS has the J3 almost ready to roll out as a native plane for 2024. There were some bugs the developer was working out, but he mostly has it ready to rock with the new sim.

Iāve tried COWS DA42 from Orbx and it flies, but all the screens are black.

Antās Tiger Moth, the Milviz Corsair and the DSD Sea Fury all seem to be working fine, they even have pilots visible
When I tested it, none of the cockpit gauges worked.

This seems to be a fairly common issue with forward compatibility. The C162ās screens are super dark, effectively unusable. Iāve seen it in a couple other planes as well that I canāt think of off the top of my head, but I assume itās an Asobo issue that either they or third party devs will have to amend.
Thanks for the reports! Iāll add the ones you mention that at least mostly work. One caveat to anyone with the Dukes: If FS2020 isnāt installed on your machine anymore, all Just Flight installers will freak out and abort. I believe thereās a workaround for this explained in detail on the Flysimware Discord. I will look for it and share here, but Iām personally waiting for Just Flightās installers to be updated even though it may take some time, as Black Square is working through bug fixes right now for his. Not sure about the Just Flight Arrows and Warrior, canāt install those yet due to the same issue.
- Per a post by a user I canāt figure out how to tag, the Aeroplane Heaven Electra is reported to be working beyond the pilot being missing. Added.
I find it to be a very weird mix of planes in FS2024. A combo with āstreamedā (?) planes that I had in FS2020, mixed with new planes with walk around features. I cant say I love this mix of planes, whith not filter options for new planes (Native FS24) and older planesā¦ Also, in standard version of FS24, it seems theres a lot of planes missing, orā¦?
I had to re-load FS2024 several times before it fully showed all of my aircraft, but some are indeed missing from my library, notably the D18S which Iām eager to have back.

Did you install the patches from their Discord? I donāt know that they work without the patches. I havenāt tried it myself yet.
Check your variants when you config the Turbine Duke and see if the other two types show there. Mine show up there.

Iāve edited the master table. Iāve added a āSourceā column indicating whether the developer themselves has indicated the aircraft is compatible, or if itās been confirmed by the community. I will create a separate table for FS2024 native aircraft addons as they start to appear (those that support the new features, namely interactive walkaround, EFB, etc.)
