Florida 50 - States Tour
Alright everybody. Time to wake up some pensioners! Will will fly our military jets all over Florida. It’s a long route, so we need some speed.
There are numerous places to see for aviaton fans along the way. Starting at the homebase of the blue angels, we will come along the famous airstrip at Cedar Key,
we will land next to John Travoltas private airliner in Greystone, visit Saint Augustine, the oldest city in the U.S., fly over Daytona, taking a look at Spruce Creek where the
roads are taxiways, fly over Disneyland in Orlando, landing at the Space Shuttle Landing Strip at the Space Coast, make a short stop in Miami and finaly enjoy a drink down in Key West.
Flight Plan Information
Follow the magenta line or just follow the pack. We will NOT stop at every airport on the flight plan.
Some airports are to small for fighter jets, we will do a touch and go.
07FA, FA81 and KMTH are only waypoints, we will not stop there.
The flightplan is XBOX friendly, no custom waypoints.
Cruise speed will at about 500kts. This is a fun flight and open to everyone.
Plan about 3 hours for this flight. We will make a 10 minute break at a airport half way through the flight.
Other Information
“Join when you can, leave if you must” is the philosphy when it comes to attending
the FSB group flights. It is totally fine to arrive late and join up whatever leg we are currently on. Or even mid air!
Voice channel highly recommended, even if you can’t speak, for breaks, and other info!
We understand some people can’t chat cause of families, etc…
