About the event
Part 5 of our NY Tour and the start of our “Impossible Landings” series. Put on your big boy pants and grab the biggest airliner you dare (extra points for a 747), as we tick off New York controllers with multiple stops, some designed for GA Aircraft. The shortest reported full stop landing for a 747 is 4200 ft . We will attempt to smash that record
After the break we will load into A320s at KLGA for the “Captain Sully” challenge. Will you make the runway? Will you end up in the drink? You won’t want to miss this event. If you can’t run with the big dogs, you might want to stay on the porch.
**RECOMMENDED AIRCRAFT:**
747 OR Any big ■■■ jet you like. If you plan on loading cold and dark please arrive 15 minutes early. Checklist will walk you thru but it takes a few minutes.
