FSDreamTeam GSX for MSFS

A work around for now if others have the same issue is to close the menu and remove it from the toolbar and only use GSX with remote control on another monitor on a web browser or on a phone etc.

Version 4.0.9 – July 9th, 2026

  • GSX (all versions) NEW: Vehicles find their own way out. Building on the ground traffic awareness introduced in the previous version, a departing vehicle whose way out is blocked by another vehicle still at work no longer just waits for it to finish: it now plans an alternative maneuver by itself, like a real driver would. The classic case is the fuel truck boxed in by a baggage loader working the rear cargo door: the truck now backs away from its spot — accelerating gently and coming to a complete stop before changing direction — and then drives around the working vehicle, and around the aircraft itself, to reach the taxiway. This works for any vehicle, at any parking, with every fuelling strategy, and needs no configuration. Your custom leave paths are always followed exactly as you authored them — only if a custom route stays genuinely blocked for a couple of minutes will the vehicle stop waiting and find its own way around. And to keep arrivals and departures untangled, a vehicle arriving at the stand now gives way to one that is leaving, letting it clear out first.

  • GSX Pro NEW: New “Select menu options with number keys” option in Settings > UI. If your 1-9/0 keys are assigned to another application — camera view presets, for example — they could select GSX menu options unintentionally (on MSFS 2024 this could even happen while the menu wasn’t on screen). Disable this option to reserve the number keys for your other software: GSX menus are then operated by clicking (or via the web remote and EFB), the number badges disappear from the menu buttons, and the GSX menu hotkey keeps working as usual. Enabled by default, preserving the familiar behaviour.

  • GSX Pro Change: Remote API and handler scripts — an aircraft’s service behaviour can now be set on the fly. Building on the write access introduced in the previous version, aircraft profiles (handler scripts) and remote clients (an EFB, an ATC or dispatch tool) can now also change how GSX serves that specific airframe. The most useful case is the refuelling method — whether GSX shows the default MSFS “Fuel and Cargo” dialog or lets the aircraft’s own fuel panel drive the load — together with toggles such as the GPU battery behaviour, de-icing, several pushback options, seated passengers and the passenger and cargo amounts. An aircraft integration can now tailor these to a given aircraft without any manual steps. The included Remote API guide has been updated with the full list of settable properties and a complete worked example.

  • GSX (all versions) Fix: Vehicles staged at the same remote spot — the two baggage trains preparing for boarding, for example — used to appear stacked on top of each other, which was very noticeable with the new vehicle cameras. They now line up neatly side by side, and set off one at a time, a few seconds apart, so they no longer drive into each other on their way to the aircraft.

  • GSX (all versions) Fix: The baggage trains could stay parked at their spawn point when boarding was requested while refuelling was still in progress, waiting for the fuel truck’s area to clear even though their route only passes near it much later. They now set off as soon as their own docking spot is free.

  • GSX (all versions) Fix: With several services running at the same time, Catering could occasionally get stuck after the trucks had finished and driven away, never reporting the service as completed. Catering now always completes cleanly, even when one truck finishes and leaves well before the other has arrived — the typical case on shorter aircraft, where the rear truck has to wait for the refuelling truck to clear its spot.

  • GSX (all versions) Fix: On aircraft that use self-loading cargo vehicles, the loaders could take the wrong path when leaving after boarding — one cutting under the fuselage with a sharp turn, the other appearing to stall on its way out. They now follow the correct, tidy leave route.

  • GSX Pro Fix (MSFS 2024): The loadmaster standing at the passenger barriers appeared in the Cameras menu without an icon; his entry now shows the walking-person icon like the other people on the apron.

Awsome !!!

So are u sleeping at all ?

Thanks for all the great updates
wish more developers would do that
would make gaming way better !

Amazing work Umberto - Thanks for keeping the updates coming. GSX has come a long way over the past couple of years
I love how intergrated its becoming (or is now able to become) with other apps

Hi, as always, congratulations on all the updates you’re making, and I think the community is happy about this. I wanted to know if there will be better passenger animations in the future (walking, movement, etc.) and if it will be possible to have unique passengers without having clones. Thanks :blush:

As a next step, it would be great to create an animation for the refueling truck—the one that doesn’t fit under aircraft wings because it’s too low.

Great work @Umberto67! Please stay healthy, it seems like you are low on sleep

In a future update, would you consider animating the entirety of a ramp worker’s shift? Instead of having 10 workers each doing different jobs, there can be 4-5 workers doing everything. Instead of a tug driver sitting in the cab for the entire turnaround, while it is inactive, they can get out and unload the cargo. Instead of wing-walkers idling under each wing for 20 minutes, they could refuel the plane in the meantime.

So a stand would have 3 workers that direct the airplane onto the stand, then place cones around the plane, and refuel, while 2 other ramp workers drive the baggage loaders and trains and then unload. When all the cargo is on the train, they’d drive it into the baggage area under the terminal and bring new trains for the next flight. They’d load the next payload, remove the ground equipment and then one would get into the tug and push the plane out.
But catering, lavatory, water and fuel truck drivers would only work in their trucks and not perform any general ramp work.

I completely understand it may be impossible because each worker’s animations are tied to their own vehicles, but I was wondering if there was some way to enable each one to use any vehicle
?

Also, can you add a one-click option in the Menu to “Perform Turn-Around”, which would call for everything in sequence: jetway/stairs, deboarding, refueling, catering, cleaning, and boarding. It would make everything more seamless, and I have a feeling you already have this last request planned, because you made simultaneous services possible . So I hope you consider this, and thanks again for all the great new features!

Enable auto services, will do most of it, except water and cleaning, but that might be an option too.

@Umberto67 After each update, is it necessary to reload the Streamdeck profile from the file in the Addon Manager\couatl\GSX\Streamdeck folder?

No, unless the update updated the profile as well.

Is there an easy way to know that? Will it be mentioned in the release notes when you update the profile?

I have a problem with the fenix A320 after recent updates. After completing the refueling, the refueling truck could not leave and did not allow the loading of luggage to begin.

Folks - Once again, as a reminder:

As per this section of the Code of Conduct,

3rd Party Support/Bug Reporting should be sent to the designated support funnels of each 3rd Party Developer, and should not be conducted in these forums.

If you encounter a bug in this product, please use the designated support funnel for this product to report it. This is a discussion topic about the product, not a support forum for it.

Thank you.

@ppocmrmojo, @DiscardedCash1 : I’d suggest asking your questions on the developers support site.

You don’t have the latest update. Use the offline installer to update.

I had this with 4.0.9 this afternoon but it did resolve itself after a while. It was around 10 minutes loaders sat at the A320 with the cargo doors open whilst the fuel truck was wedged in between them. Fueling finished and the loaders were in place as I had called boarding
but the baggage trains didn’t arrive. Refueling finished and the driver returned to the truck and then sat there for about 10 minutes with the loaders also in place.

Eventually, after about 10 minutes the fuel track eventualy backed away and the baggage trains arrived.

I know this is not the right forum for that, so I also posted it in the GSX support forums, but I have the same issue:
Since the last updates, fuel truck is not leaving after refueling, so luggage is never loaded, and COUATL has to be aborted and restarted to allow pushback.
Status message says “waiting for fuel truck to leave”, but truck never leaves.
Uninstalled GSX, reinstalled it, and applied also the offline installer (two times). Everything seems up to date.
Aircraft: Fenix 320
Airports: So far happened in three out of three attempts: Aerosoft EDDF (stand B22), Fly Tampa EKCH (stand C32) and Aerosoft Oslo Gardemoen ENGM (stand 18).
PS - I never waited 10 minutes, so maybe the truck will move after this long time, but I do not think that this is how it is supposed to work

Yes the thing with the fuel truck also happens to me sometimes, but it didn’t freeze the rest of the services for me I think.

But if you select the “request refuelling” option in the menu you can abort the operation and the truck disappears.

I don’t know if the pending services resume after that I would imagine they do.

This is not a bug report post. Its just helping a fellow simmer getting around something.

It’s fair we’re asked not to report bugs here, as Umberto also reminds us for time to time.

It’s just a lot more convenient because we get “immediate” replies from other simmers and Umberto.

Cheers!

I genuinely love the way GSX brings life into the cabin.

What I can’t stand, however, is the way the female cabin crew are portrayed. They’re overly objectified and sexualized and often look more like sexist dolls than actual flight attendants. I’d much rather see what we see in real life: a genuinely diverse range of cabin crew - different genders, ages, body types, and ethnicities (the last point is more or less achieved). And if they’re young and female, please tone down the skin-tight uniforms and exaggerated proportions. It’s neither realistic nor professional; it’s just cringe. Flight simulation should be an inclusive hobby and craft. Our community is already heavily male-dominated, with relatively few women. I’m not saying every woman would dislike these depictions, but I do think GSX could do much better by making the cabin crew more diverse and more representative of the real aviation industry.

And sure
if you really want conventionally attractive people in the mix, then make it fair: include attractive men as well. Just don’t reduce the female crew to objectified eye candy with watermelons (sorry) while everyone else gets to look like professionals. Make it realistic. Make it diverse. Make it 2026. Thanks.

/// - am I the only one thinking that?

You are not wrong
