Please don’t use this forum for support question.

This issue has been raised on our forum already, we are investigating it and right now I can’t reproduce it, but of course we won’t stop investigating until a fix that works for everybody will be found.

This was not a support request, it was just to let you know. :smirk:

I am using a 49inch ultra-wide curved monitor at 5120 x 1440 resolution. This results in the text in the MSFS Toolbar window for GSX being small and difficult to read. There appears to be no option to change the text size in GSX.

I found a solution using my Elgato StreamDeck XL with the Axis and Ohs package for GSX:

It makes GSX much easier to use and has the added advantages that the MSFS Toolbar window for GSX never has to be opened in the sim and less reliance on using the mouse.

Is gsx worth it? I fly Many airlines and I want good pushback

Definitely. Even if it was only for that pushback.

I am scared of Potenial CTDs and bugs….is it rare or common

I haven’t seen a CTD for months now and I use GSX almost every day.

GSX is safe to use today and works usually flawless. So no concern at all, go for it…

I don’t believe it’s possible for GSX to crash the sim. If it has a problem the only thing will crash is the Coutal scripting engine. If it falls over (which virtually never happens) simply restart it. Easy.

I honestly believe that for anybody who flies any type of airliner (big or small) in this sim GSX is as ‘must have’ as it’s possible to be.

Happens very often in my case. Usually when requesting a pushback. The pushback crew spawns, walks towards my plane and gets stuck. No progress at all until I restart Couatl and request pushback again.

Do you play Couatl in Windows 8 compatibility mode? Try it. I have no issues since I change it to play in this compatibility mode.

No but I will try it. Strange that in 2023 you still need to use Windows 8 compatibility :).

Yes, it is, but it works, at least for me. I had very annoying issues, like couatl always was disconnected after take off and I had to engage it manually every flight before landing. In another forum I read we could solve that issue (and other) playing couatl in Windows 8 compatibility mode. And it worked, It has never disconnected again after take off. Try it, maybe it will fix your issues too.

Windows 8 compatibility mode is set as default since some time now, no need to actively change this anymore. Still does not work for me

It looks great! I hope the “performance is mostly un-impacted” sentence is true.

There a reason why we decided to show passengers with the Fenix A320 (so everybody could see the good fps “live”), and not with a lighter aircraft.

Because if it works with the Fenix…

A couple of users had the problem of the pushback apparently stuck after the guy walked to the airplane, and they reported is fixed by pressing ESC twice, to enter/exit the MSFS menu.

We don’t know why it happens, since we don’t detect that event, and it happens to so few users (like two reported cases until now, plus yours), that it seems to be caused by some kind of unusual combination of settings and other add-ons used.
