It means it’s installed but not “linked” to your Community folder - click the Re-Link button and it should be available in-sim.
Well, it hasn’t been crashy for me, despite my other (non-crash related) issues detailed in earlier posts. It seems to be working fairly well for me now, even in most third party airports. However, until GSX gains the ability to access airport parking data from Marketplace airports (see prior posts up-thread or read the manual), I’ve spend some time with the GSX Editor mode today to modify some of the (wrong) default parking info for a few of my usual departure/arrival airports. With luck, this is the sort of thing the community will eventually help out with - there’s already a new subforum on the FSDT forums for such modified .ini files, as well as one for aircraft config files.
obviously tried, obviously doesn’t work. Guess I have to move my 1.9 TB MSFS installation to another drive and format original drive to NTFS. Gotta love these fancy trash installers that, at the end of the day, don’t even work.

Loaded up at Tailstrike LIME and when I click the GSX button it tells me It cant find any valid Data… So what now? that’s it, it wont work with that airport or have I done something wrong?
Bought it earlier this evening. Initial thoughts are lots of fun or at least the potential for lots of fun once you’ve got it optimised and worked out properly. Clearly an absolute ton of work has gone into it so I’m not hugely surprised it costs what it does. The manual alone is vast and does require a bit of a read through.
Obviously its mainly geared towards the big airliners but I’d like to get it working with something like the Twin Otter at smaller airports if thats do-able.
I’d imagine modders will have a lot of fun getting more liveries and airline uniforms working with it.
As others have said some of the instillation is a bit clunky. How it integrates with the sim is obviously pretty complex I’d imagine. I’ve had the same issue others have had with the toolbar GSX button just not functioning. Restarting the sim sorted it out though. Hopefully these rough edges will get ironed out.
All in all its really next level great fun in the sim and I can’t wait have a proper play with it all once I’ve worked it out a bit more.
I guess the next chapter in all this is having similar animated passengers actually in the plane during the flight.
Does the file system you are using support symbolic links? If not then you will need to copy your Addon Manager directory to your community folder. Otherwise, create one manually in accordance with the file system you are using. IIRC FAT32 (if that is what you are using) doesn’t support symbolic links.
Thanks. To be honest I just spawned my A320 at Edinburgh and it was good to go. Maybe custom jetways at third party airports are a bit of an issue? There’s a bit learning curve with it for sure.

I don’t use symbolic links at all. After that I have no idea what you mean by “Otherwise, create one manually in accordance with the file system you are using”. I’m reformatting anyways.
Typically, a file system that supports symbolic links will have a tool that allows them to be created. With NTFS, you can create them manually using the command line mklink.exe tool. I tend to create mine manually so I can use add-on linker with a double layer of indirection to only copy the symlinks when I want them.
Hoping for some updates coming soon… lot of visual bugs at all airports I tried, PMDG 737 conflicts between their ground ops and GSX (although PMDG is advertised as supported), 5 CTD in the last 60 minutes with Fenix (although Fenix is advertised as supported), the first 5 CTD since weeks, no other changes/updates to the sim. Uninstalled GSX, repeated same flight, no CTD. Reinstalled, CTD after another 15 minutes in same flight. So don´t tell me it´s just coincidence and not GSX fault… was looking forward to having a relaxing short trip, instead wasted time and a frustrating evening…
Pretty disappointed so far. Expected a 8,5/10 product, but so far it is more 6 or 6.5/10 to me.
But I have hope that Umberto will fix things asap…
One day, when it will be working like in P3D, it will surely be the must have addon we all remember and have hoped for. Until then, either use the trial option first to check or stay away from it for another 2 or maybe 3 weeks.

Not sure what you are experiencing, but I’m having no real issues with the PMDG 737-700 and GSX. If you use GFX then you set pax, payload and fuel through the immediate pages in the FMC rather than using the ground service request options. Fueling is the only thing that doesn’t work great, but if you use a SimBrief flight plan, then the truck will hang around and “fuel” in real time after you enter the flight plan amount in the FMC fuel page. You also have to close the cargo doors manually. No CTDs for me so far…
