Microsoft/Asobo has nothing to prove at this event, whereas X-Plane and P3D have to show they have a future. The MSFS team updates the world on a routine, dependable, weekly basis, whereas X-Plane and P3D remain silent for years at a time about their future intentions (if any). The MSFS team regularly takes Q&A from the community. P3D never does, and Austin’s response to MSFS was to do a live stream and then delete it because it had nothing to say.
