FSLTL - FS Live Traffic Liveries is live!

Has anyone run it at Australian airports like YSSY?

I notice with most of the AI traffic addons that alot of our airlines especially regionals are missing. Even with AIG some were missing, and I was able to fill the gap using this package with the default traffic bgl files MSFS AI Traffic Oceania Livery Pack » Microsoft Flight Simulator

Curious if this would have full coverage over Oceania area? Is there a list of airlines included I can checkout?

Also with the injector, is there a way to also run extra models/livs to fill the gaps of anything missing?

Sounds are much better in FSLTL. You can hear the rumble and buzz saw sounds from taking off aircraft from afar. Just like a real airport

Aircraft lighting is much better too. But I very seldom have crashes with AIG. I don’t use TC.

I resolved it by reducing the ifr count from 85 to 75. I also turned off the Static parked aircraft. I think the latter setting did the trick. With it on t filled every parking space at KDFW that was a bit much I think.

I was getting CTDs and freezes at the pre flight query after loading.
Figured it out…

For some reason the traffic injector folder just doesn’t like being in my community folder or it’s having conflicts with other addons in my community folder.
I simply placed the traffic injector’s folder on my desktop and launch it from there.
No more freezes nor CTDs and it runs fine without needing to be in the community folder directory.

Only thing left for me is for it to have a “collision detection” for VATSIM purposes. So parked aircraft and user aircraft don’t spawn on top of each other. I only use it for the parked aircraft and have Vatsim produce traffic (online or “offline” as am observer). For me its the best of two worlds. During busy vatsim hours i switch it FSLTL off.
And perhaps add the ability to remove parked aircraft from specific stands.

And are these planes we see with this add on actual flights happening in real life at that time by that airliner?? This is so awesome!

Watching streams on Youtube it’s stated there is only about a 5 minutes delay from real time. Most likely as good as it can get. Certainly better than FS2020 live traffic with it’s 30 minute delay.

Yeah, I just switched from AIG. Been using AIG since its release and even tried Simple Traffic. For FSLTL, there is far, far less FPS loss. I can crank it up pretty high with both IFR and VFR and have hardly any impact. I have no potato build, mind you.
The traffic has more features, better performance, has flaps and effects, sound wwaayy better and look better at night. Also, my pilot2atc program can see them on the map. Currently at KPDX watching a few flights land in at night and using flight radar.
Love it so far.

This is great in general, more stable and less maintenance compared to AIG. However FPS hit is quite a bit ranging between 8-10fps on my system (3090, 12900K, Ultra in 3840x1600), back to in-app live traffic with FSLTL liveries is definitely less fps hit. But FSTLT shows more “live” than the default Asobo “live” IMO

I set at 0 on the “additional parked aircraft” means everything plane should be pull from flightradar, but I think I see “more” planes in the game than flightradar :thinking:

I do get freeze when exiting (going back to the menu). It occurs with AIG traffic injection as well. Only in game “live traffic” has no issue with freezing

It can take a while for it all to kick off. I had to wait 5 minutes or more before things got underway. Try patience :wink:

Some weird anomalies occasionally seen, here a double pirouette at EGLL!

All in all apart from occasional reduced/missing landing traffic (I saw this at EGLL which should have been busy with landings), and a few missing liveries it’s a fantastic addition to have in the simulator.

You have to turn the default air traffic sliders to zero in game. Including ground traffic (static traffic). Worth checking you’ve done this. Also if you have then you can control how much traffic (IFR, VFR and static) is generated before you inject it into the sim.

Yes, FSLTL looks and sounds better than ST at major airports like KSFO, and jetways and other mechanicals operate better. However, I see no twin jets injected by FSLTL at smaller airports like KSTS that have scheduled twin jet flights. ST will always inject 2 to 6 twin jets at KSTS.

Thanks for the tips. I may have had another problem with my graphics driver. I will do some more testing over the weekend.

This really is very good. I dont think it has the Twin Otter model though.

So i tried it yesterday…super cool works perfectly with the default atc,fast and simple to use,the only two things are some white aircraft(maybe liveries miss)and no plate identification(maybe that is normal,dont know)but in the end is the future of the live air traffic,great work guys

How can one compare FSLTL with ST?
Simple Traffic is the worst traffic add on out there, generic models which don’t even exist in real life.
FSLTL is far the best traffic add on now, optimized real life models and live traffic
