The FSLTL files should be in your community folder. Look in the “fsltl-traffic-injector” folder and you’ll find the “fsltl-trafficinjector” exe file. I created a desktop shortcut for it since I don’t always want to run it, but that lets me start it without starting up the FBWinstaller first.
Is there a way to prevent FSLTL from wrongly detecting SU13 beta? Because i’m not in the beta. Looong landings are reintroduced.
This is now fixed and is was only a problem in the experimental build (which is experimental
) - if you or anyone else is using the experimental build visit the linked discord message (pinned in our general channel) and opt in to be part of the experimental build channel then you will a) have change logs for the experimental b) be able to provide feedback on it.
Thx! Found it. In Windows 11 i attached it to the start, eben more convenient to press the win key and click on fstl
Just don’t forget to check the FBW installer regularly to make sure you get updates.
I must say for for me unknown reasons the FPS increased since the last update. Now its taking between 10 and 15 fps which was really to much for my system. So now only a few planes at major airports otherwise i only have 15 fps to start the flight with
My frame rate seems to have taken a hit since the latest update with FSLTL. I’m in the SU13 beta.
My frame rates seem to have increased recently too. I thought it was due to better fine tuning and wasn’t going to say anything, but now I’m wondering if something did update for the better.
I am confused - was there an update in this week and did it result in loss or gain of FPS?
@TONYDARKZERO I am currently having installed FSLTL in my community folder. I am planning to install AIG models in community folder. May I know will FSLTL look for the files automatically in AIG models too if it doesn’t find the appropriate models within FSLTL folder? Is there any changes that we need to made in order for FSLTL to find models in AIG folder? Thanks in advance.
I’ve got both in the C/F and I rarely see white aircraft. I honestly don’t know if either is looking at the other but it all works fine.
Incidentally I only use FSLTL or AIG Traffic Manager, never both. FSLTL if flying real time and AIG if not - it gets very quiet on FSLTL if it happens to be night in real time.
I just use default MSFS ATC, I don’t run either traffic program in the background, I just get the liveries. I’m sure there’s a reference to combining AIG with the FSLTL in there instructions
Hi everyone
I am having a problem getting my head around " Traffic " These are the settings that I tried tonight, so as to only get a few aircraft at airports.
MSFS Ground aircraft density = 0
MSFS Aircraft type = Real-time online
MSFS use Generic aircraft models ( AI Traffic ) = Off
MSFS use Generic aircraft models (Multiplayer ) = Off
MSFS Show Aircraft close = Off
MSFS Traffic Variety = ultra ( should have been off ?)
fsltl
Base Models only
No injector
This is a picture of what I got at Gatwick when I landed, and I don’t have any Easy Jet liveries.
You have basically no ability to control aircraft quantity with MSFS default traffic - if you want to do that - use the FSLTL injector. The user guide describes its settings that allow control of how many aircraft are in sim.
I don’t think FSLTL support AIG model matching as per my reading yesterday. I did not find any refernce prior to this but some users said AIG is not supported by FSLTL. So, I am not sure how to make FSLTL to find AIG liveries in community folders. Maybe if someone has some reference to be pointed out that would be helpful.
At the destination airport there are strange things happening with FSLTL anyway.
I still don’t understand the system. There are always heaps of planes around that are neither active AI planes nor fall under the “ground plane category”. I still don’t understand where they come from and how to influence them. Only when you press “Reset Traffic” is everything correct.
The FSLTL injector finds AIG models for model matching whenever AIG models are present in the standard Community folder names created by the AIG installer. FSLTL is aware of the AIG folder structure and no action is required by the FSLTL user for installed AIG models to be used.
It is easy for me to see the difference because the FSLTL models are sharp and clean with 3D windows while the AIG models are a little fuzzy with flat windows. However, it is very nice to have the AIG models because they give you the correct model in the sim when the models are missing in the FSLTL base pack.
I’d noted his yesterday when landing at KPRB — a small municipal airport.
One parking area looked like a Cessna dealership lot filled with the C172 all painted the exact same color scheme. It was really weird seeing them all there identical in appearance in neat rows/columns.
I have static/ground aircraft density set to zero in the sim, so FSLTL must have been responsible for them being spawned.
I fly out of KPRB all the time and don’t see static aircraft like that on departure. I just happened to decide to fly into KPRB from Las Vegas and, so, it changed my usual departure airport into an arrival one.
Thanks, folks for the info, will try using the FSLTL injector tonight.
I think what is happening in your case is that the Asobo “Real-time online” traffic is applying the easyjet livery which exists in your FSLTL aircraft set that you have installed.
You also get some GA models also, if I’m on a group flight I can see Twin otters (I don’t have this aircraft)
