The island of Iceland in the Northern Atlantic is a paradise for bush pilots, offering many remote airstrips located at spectacular locations. And flying can become quite challenging: Especially during spring and autumn, rapidly changing weather conditions as well as strong winds are an aviators everyday business.

The new tour follows the famous Ring Road on Iceland, which I had the good fortune to drive on all around the island with my wife. Lots of beautiful and awe inspiring sights to see, from waterfalls to volcanoes to glaciers and fjords.

It’s no surprise that Iceland has provided some grand scenery for Hollywood movies like Interstellar, James Bond, Batman, Star Wars and many others: It’s got a somewhat otherworldly appeal you won’t find anywhere else on the planet.

Tonight (07/08/2025), here’s how to join:

  • You need FS2024 to fly along.
  • Leg’s gonna start at 7 pm zulu time

Sorry guys, yesterday was cursed. First my FS installation went haywire, then my internet broke down. We’ll try again on Thursday, instead of Pacific Edge. I’ll update the event and let you know the details soon.

good question!

but we’re not doing this in one session, usually we fly 1-3 hours at a time, depending on everyone’s budget for the day. so no worries.

unfortunately, we won’t be able to fly tonight, I’ve got an infection, i apologize.

next event will be in september, because from next week on i’m on vacation with my family for a while

until then, keep the sunny side up :slight_smile:
