FStarter - Save your own Points of Interest and access hundreds cities in flight with just one click

I recently bought FStarter ( previous VFR Explorer ) at Sim Market.

It is such a good application for MSFS2020 to bookmark and easy re-load your favorite points of interest.

It is so easy to handle the Point of Interest saving process.

While being in flight you type in a name of your POI and save that in clicking “Add POI” .
While you are in flight situation you can then just load a saved entry from your list and it will instant
re-load that exact location and position in some seconds.

The applications offers more features like:

  • one click in flight access to photogrammetry cities
  • one click in flight access to cities
  • Bing Map and Little NavMap integration
  • train and improve your landing skills at any Airport

Since the POI Database is saved locally in a text file you could also share your fav places with others to experience the same places.

Here is another hort review of FStarter.

This is such a great application for MFS2020.

Finally i am able to bookmark my favorite locations as my own points of interest.
And that with just entering a name and pressing the save button.
Same comfort is re-loading them from a POI Button and selecing one of my fav locations from the in built overview Listbox.

The integration of all the additional map features and having access to such amount of cities with one click now without having to cancel the flight is such a great feature.

I had some app closing / crashing issues with my first usage of FStarter and received instant e-mail support from the developer which finally solved all issues quick which hav all been on my side.
