Fuel mixture changes fuel consumption incorrectly

Shouldn’t leaning the mixture progressively lower fuel consumption? In this game the fuel flow actually goes up until the optimal combustion point is reached, then goes down again if the mixture is leaned further. It shouldn’t be fuel consumption behaving this way, but the exhaust / combustion temperature. This was with the Beechcraft Bonanza.

I have the same issue with the Beechcraft Baron 58

It’s a rather old bug inherited from fs9 / fsx…

Have reported it during alpha.

Probably will get addressed in a future core sim update, so I hope

The recess takes longer the higher you are flying. At sea level it is difficult to notice, but as you get higher you can see watch the fuel flow increase during a longer period of time.
