msfs-2024 I noticed an issue in the Fuel & Payload UI screen.
My sim uses the hybrid units of measurement.
As shown in the screenshot, I completely emptied the 747‑8i (no passengers, no fuel, no baggage). The aircraft’s empty weight is 220.128 kg, but the total mass displayed in the configuration screen is 485.300 kg, which corresponds exactly to the same value expressed in pounds.
This suggests a UI bug: the value shown in kilograms is actually the pound value, without proper unit conversion.
The UI should either display the correct mass in kilograms (220,128 kg in this case) or switch the unit to pounds if that’s the intended value.
Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.
The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
Can replicate the issue. Does not seem specific to the 747 (if you want to test with other aircraft) but more likely a conversion issue for any aircraft on the “Fuel and payload” screen, “Total Mass” when Hybrid or Metric are used, weight is not converted to kgs even if the unit of measure says “kgs”. “Fuel” section is not affected.
I would recommend to create a report in the Bug Reporting Hub > Aircraft & Systems using the provided template and filling in all required fields.
Yep this issue occurs on every plane on career, I mostly fly airbus, and put everything in kilo (in the game settings, EFB and the plane itself) and the only thing I have to convert from lbs to kgs is the fuel in this interface
