I was never able to turn on both AP’s at the same time on FBW A320 . When I turn the second on the first disconnects.
1st of all, don’t post FBW A32NX discussion under Bugs & Issues, that section is only reserved for Default contents without third-party addons. This topic should be under Third-Party Addons Discussion.
As for your specific issue. Which FBW A32NX version are you currently using? Are you using the Marketplace or Stable version? If so, Autoland is not implemented in those version, so both autopilots will not be operational in those versions.
If you are using the Development version of the FBW A32NX. Then it is indeed working, you just need to make sure you are tuned into the ILS frequency and that the ILS signal is detected by the aircraft. Once it’s detected, you can arm the APPR mode by pressing the APPR button on the FCU, and once the APPR mode is armed, then you can press AP2 to have both AP1 and AP2 active in Dual configuration. If the APPR mode isn’t armed, you can’t turn on both AP.
Sorry for wrong section, my apology. I am using STABLE version so it is not possible to use AUTOLAND with both autopilots. Thank you for your answer.
