Hi - I have Air Manger 4.0.1 and it works great with “steam gauges” on my touch screens with knobster (the “official” one).
I have the Beta Plugin 3.5 for Air Manager downloaded. When I run it, all looks fine - my problem is that if I use the Generic Garmin G1000 overlays in Air Manager (I have two Wimaxit touch screens - one for PFD and one for MFD), and then “pop-out” the PFD and MFD glass screens from MSFS 2020 (I usually fly the C172 Skyhawk G1000), the popouts keep disappearing, and the knobs/softkeys on the overlays don’t seem to affect the instruments in the plane. I have knobster (official), and it seems to work on the touch screens, but not affect PFD or MFD in airplane itself. Soft keys on the Wimaxit x 2 make a “clicking” sound if pressed, but again no affect on the instruments in plane itself.
So I guess my main questions are (1) How do I keep the popouts permanently showing (and not disappearing), and (2) How to I get the Air Manger touch screens (knobster and touching the soft keys etc.) to actually work in the aircraft itself?
I am clearly doing something stupid - and not for the first time!
If I don’t use the generic overlays and simply popout the PFD and MFD screens to my Wimaxit x 2, they show fine and don’t disappear, but I can’t do anything with the soft keys.
Should I be using something other than the generic overlays in AM perhaps?
Thanks in advance (again!), Alasdair [aka Flybasher16420].
