Curious of anyone has heard the devs mention an update in the future that fixes the current severe snow issue where everything is covered including roads and runways?

But what about snow at at places other than airports, i.e the general land? This is the mian problem, Vast areas of land covered in snow and ice when it is simply not there.
that too. between snow covering all roads all the time and also covering vast swaths even in the summer it makes it hard to ever use real-time weather in a lot of places, which is unfortunate
That answer above from an Asobo dev is strange. Absolutely most airports remove snow very quickly. Only DURING heavy snowfall will you see actual snow coverage on airports. Also in the more northern latitudes, they are used to removing snow quickly, also on smaller airports.
Absolutely unrealistic, please fix this very soon, Asobo!
Try to fly into any airport in the Nordics, Iceland, Greenland now.
Fly into Narsarsuaq (BGBW) for instance.
IRL in winter the scenery is completely covered in snow, and the runway, taxiways and aprons are FREE of snow.
In the Asobo world, it is the other way around. Hahaha.
Opposite of the real world.
This problem is now over two years old, and winter operations are unrealistic still. Come on Asobo, you can do better.
A quick fix could be a check box “no snow on airports” so everybody can choose himself and find the runways and taxiways visually.
