Fuzzy Water at waters edge

Hey everyone, I have a graphical issue with MSFS that I haven’t seen on the internet/forums. Waterways, lakes and oceans seem to have a ‘fuzziness’ where it meets the land, especially when there are buildings/trees/structures around it. I have attached two screenshots to show what I mean, with areas shown in red. So far I have removed all addons, messed with graphical settings, turned off Rolling Cache, and cleared the rolling cache several times.

I have the sim running DX 12 with no issues, except this. Switch to DX 11 did remove these fuzzy areas, however doing so brought in stutters and some strange texture tearing. If I have choose then I’ll pick strange fuzzy water issues.

But does anyone have any idea what might cause this, or what can tone it down a bit?


Exact same problem. It’s not as blurry in VR, but I get turquoise lines around the edges of the water in VR. Rift S HS, R9 5900X, 64gb, RX 6900XT
