Seems I only get maybe one or two down landing gear commands. At some point I’m not able to lower landing gear no matter what controller I use ie keyboard, ms controller or Thurstmaster.
Was at a friends house and he had the same problem.

What speed are you trying to lower the gear at?
between 100 to 80 mph… I thought of that earlier. I’ve also had the issue with both versions - normal and ‘stubby’ wing.

For the Sim version it’s good, but for the Spit you don’t have the right version

Ah ok, I don’t know how the updates work with Xbox but as I told you it must be a version problem of your Spit …
I know that if you bought it in the Marketplace of the Sim, normally you can update it from the content manager in the Sim
or more likely 
– Bottom line user error …
In my own defense I assumed the speed gauge was only one rotation not two. I was taught to look out the cockpit not fixate on gauges… sooooooo when I knew for sure the Spit was really below 70 or so knots (under one rotation) the landing works as it should. Lowered and raised it many many times.
Now I’ll go hid under rock till the world forgets I’m a idiot…
