While watching videos of people flying airplanes that have the G 1000, I’ve noticed that they get callouts for, “vertical track“ and “minimum“. I don’t get those callouts when I fly planes with the G 1000. I have my minimum set in the approach procedure mode, and I’m also using the vertical path mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Personal Comments and Observations
The audio clips for those callouts is not licensed/commercially available, so they’re not included in the standard G1000 Instrument as built by Working Title for Microsoft.
I’m aware of at least one freeware maker who included “Vertical Track” in their FS2020 mods. But they’re not constrained by potential litigation and trademark infringement compared to MS and Official First Party Partners.
First, let me thank you for the quick response, it’s greatly appreciated.
I would assume that’s the same issue with the audible beeps when you’re within 1000 feet, and then another beep at 200 feet from the bugged altitude in the G1000. I do get the bugged altitude flashing at 1000 feet but I don’t hear a beep which I’ve heard on other videos using the G 1000.
I would assume so. Generally an attempt is made to render instruments as closely to RL as possible within IP limits.
It’s also on my wishlist, especialy the callouts for Minimums
