I found this mod, called, G1000-G3000-G3X Mod SimFlyingFriends 1.2. It’s great as it fixes up the default colours of the Garmin’s in the sim.
But it seemed to cause issues with the latest patch so I removed the mod.
I was wondering if maybe there is an updated version but for the life of me I can’t find this mod anywhere again and I can’t remember where I found it in the first place.
Hoping if anyone out there knows where this mod is and if there is an updated version. I can’t find it on google or any of the various MSFS2020 groups, sites etc etc.
Yeah… I agree with FlipperJeans470. The developer needs to fix what they put out. We shouldn’t have to turn to a third-party on this one. Also, because the game is so bugged/broken, the myriad of patches that we’ll likely see over the short to medium term will probably cause all sorts of problems with third-party mods. As I said before, I’d personally wait it out on third-party stuff until the game has at least some semblance of stability.
Absolutely, I also see it as a waste of precious community time and motivation. Rather they just wait a bit until the majority of the game breaking bugs are solved and game features are fleshed out before they spend their energy on fixing stupid bugs and maybe even creating functionality that is coming to the game anyway.
Good example is with the airbus neo project where they are fixing bugs with the engine, which will probably be fixed in the next asobo update.
