G1000 goes black then flashes red

Brief description of the issue: while flying Cessna 172 G1000, the G1000 turns black a couple minutes into the flight, then flashes red intermittently. This happened on three flights at two different airports even restarting FS2020 each time.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered: Make flight plan for low-altitude airways, using direct departure and direct arrival at the same airport. Take off in Cessna 172 G1000, fly in any direction for a couple minutes.

I have also observed it! both with C172 and C152 (flashing text in the radio panel). I have not had this phenomenon before. Came yesterday!

I saw this in both C-172 and Diamond DA-62. Then discovered I was draining the battery by leaving my switch in the “Start” position instead of turning it back to “Both”.

If you are using the Working Title G1000 (and if not, you should be - it will eventually be streamed into the sim code from SU5 onwards), make sure you’re using version 0.3.7 - there has been a flurry of hotfixes since SU4 release this afternoon.
