I didn’t have the problems you mention and yes, I agree that the instruments are a bit harder to read in VR - I owned some of their models for previous sims and the reason I didn’t buy more or fly those I had very much was the quality of the gauges - readability and very awkward reflection implementation.
The worst one is the HSI/compass, which is very blurry even when zoomed-in.
On the whole, however, it isn’t bad for the price.
Regarding Just Flight - I’m pretty sure I saw an announcement somewhere that their server had some problems in the last couple of days.
