Because it actually performs as a real GNS530 would in all the ways that matter, vs the abomination Asobo gave us to use. Functions work as they’re supposed to, activating an approach doesn’t make you do a U-Turn to a point 50 NM behind you, without the possibility of using Direct To to get around it. Even though I’m not a huge fan of the GNS530 as a whole, I love this implementation of it because it’s so well done and works exactly as you would expect it to without any unpleasant Asobo surprises thrown in.
