The G1000 looks great, but the knobs are lacking any ability to adjust the settings easily. A modified design which can be popped out is badly needed, along with improved functionality. I’ll just putt around the sky enjoying the great view before getting serious about any add ons.
unfortunately G1000 is very broken and with lots of issues… who knows when or if they will correct. I am waiting for the community to come up with something better, because I believe ASOBO is not interested or can not fix the thousands of bugs that affect G1000 and other avionics.
Why MSFS is not a X-plane killer. I would gladly pay the price of the original game for a proper G1000 implementation.
Now I have to say that I am not too concerned about G1000 because I use SIMIONIC app with two iPads when I want a real and completely functional simulation of G1000, so that works quite well, specially if you fly manually. When coupled to the autopilot, still a few issues, in general it works relatively well, but there are some things to iron out before is perfect, I know the developer is actively working on solving those.

oh really? well… I am sorry but that is my opinion and I am entitled to have my own opinion… and my opinion is based on my experience and what I have seen so far…
