G1000 not working after latest update

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
AP turns on…but NAV HDG etc does not work…everything was A OK prior to this update.

Do you mean the latest sim update, or the latest G1000 update?
Have you ensure you have the latest version (0.4.1) if you have the Community folder mod, and that you don’t have both the Community folder G1000 mod and the marketplace G1000 NXi installed?

Personally I prefer having the NXi as it’s more fully featured in general.

Ah, I wasn’t aware it had been updated.
Did you check the release notes here?

I will give it a try myself soon, but make sure you’re on an intercept course when enabling GPS and note that you might enter ROL mode in some circumstances.

Thanks for quick response gents, I uninstalled the WT add on…re installed…same problem…did this uninstall/re install procedure again…now working…more testing to do…
Crazy days…
Logitech NAV panel is having a heart attack…the ALT is showing 99000 feet…unable to change it…oh well will uninstall that and see if that sorts it out…as I said, crazy days…

OK…buggered up again…interesting…will not follow NAV or HDG…oh well turn off and have another crack tomorrow I reckon…worked perfectly (very well) before latest update…now a total mess…well at least I understand that the 99000 feet is a bug…just read all the notes in more detail…always helps, instead of speed reading

Is it possible that you will offer version 0.4.1 again in the content manager until the problems with 0.5.0 are resolved. At the moment 0.5.0 is unusable.

0.4.1 has never existed for the NXi.
There’s the G1000 mod, placed in the Community folder, which had versions 0.4.0 and 0.4.1 (the latter is still the most recent).
Then there’s the G1000 NXi replacement (written from scratch), in the Marketplace, which has had versions 0.1.0, 0.2.0, 0.3.0 and 0.5.0.

If you used the G1000 0.4.1 previously you can still go back to it by uninstalling the G1000 NXi from the marketplace and installing the G1000 0.4.1 in your Community folder.

The altitude issue is noted in 0.5.0 and impacts certain hardware controllers. Please see the latest posts from Bishop398 (Matt Nischan) in the Master Thread. Please participate there so we don’t have split/duplicate posts going forward.
