G1000 NXI Arm VPTH indicator not displaying correctly in ALT mode

Arm VPTH indicator not displaying correctly in ALT mode

Description of the issue:
On the real G1000NXI and G1000 like avionics, pilots are able to arm a VPTH descent when the altitude selector is set to a lower altitude then the current one, and with a valid altitude restriction in the flight plan, the pilot can arm VPTH by pressing VNAV.

In the sim, VPTH white symbol that show ARM doesn’t show up, giving the pilot no indication that VPTH is arm or not. There is a work around I found where the pilot can switch to Pitch mode via the ALT button, make sure VPTH is ARM, then switch back to ALT mode then it is display correctly.

I did report this to Working Title’s discord, and someone did help me debug and it seems to be a display issue rather than a functionality, but without the display, it is extremely hard to figure out if VPTH is ARM or not.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Any aircraft with G1000 system

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
N/A

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Spawn into plane with G1000 at some altitude higher than the constraint altitude
  2. Ensure that the altitude constraint is set and do direct to that fix with the constraint in the flight plan correctly and make sure a TOD is calculated
  3. Make autopilot system fly it in NAV and ALT mode, select a lower altitude than the current, and press VNAV to arm it.
  4. VPTH white ARM symbol will not show up (Bug)
