I was under the impression that the G1000nxi was added in Sim Update 10 to the base game. Prior to SU10 you had to download it via the content manager. I have just done a reinstall and my question is do I still need to install the version which appears in the content manager or can I just ignore it…

AFAIK Its used in 3rd party planes that have the G1000, it hooks into the new built-in code.
