Anyone have a hot pixel free G2 headset? I have one that’s driving me crazy since it’s in the sweet spot. I like to fly at night, so it’s quite obvious.
My Quest has one too but it’s off center.

It’s a pixel that stays permanently on. So if it’s a dark background it looks like a little point of light.
Oh OK. In that case yes, mine is luckily free of those. I would try and return it instantly if I saw something like that and still had warranty
I remember back in the 90’s when laptops were a new thing, I bought one and it had maybe 3 stuck pixels with one of them near the center. It drove me crazy. I tried to return the laptop due to this defect and was denied. They stated that it’s normal for some LCD panels to have this happen and it’s part of the manufacturing process. There was nothing I could do. I tried several fixes like massaging the pixel but nothing helped.
I haven’t had this issue since back then. I wonder if a manufacturer would take a return for a stuck pixel today. They wouldn’t do it 25 years ago. Luckily my G2 screens are perfect.
