359 model folders prepared - that is 359 different ship types
676 unique gltf models prepared - that is unique ship models e.g. different subclasses of ships or different load out on deck
10180 textures prepared - that you can divide by somewhere between 6-8 and you have the number of different repaints or sim.cfg entries - I have not counted but it is a lot…
If I still have a bit of energy upload will start later this evening, if not tomorrow… In any case I will post here once it is done and available, but for sure adding approval time at flightsim.to it won’t be on this side of midnight, so please don’t spend you evening looking for it…
And, It is a public beta… Some things are still missing e.g. some routes, which have not been tested, some ships which gave to much trouble, and there will be mistakes… just look at the numbers above and you will understand why…

That’s assumed in my case as being a QA engineer, even on “proper” final releases. People just have to report these issues over here so they can be fixed later

Hello,
I would like to inform how to me, as well like others, GAIST looks to be the cause (onto my system) of constant Freezes when pressing “Fly now”. The flight loading interrupts/freezes before 50% and stops here forever.
I tried all other addons in the community to move out/in for 3 days and I just finished all testing.
GAIST is the exactly one who always causes such freeze when pressing Fly… unfortunately.
Sadly I had to remove it right now… if something could be useful to be known for the developer, please tell me

I recently had the same problem which I thought I had tracked down to GAIST at one time. After installing another mod I had the same problem again and did some serious testing with no reliable outcome. After I thought I had identified several mods that caused the problem I ended up with CTDs again. Even with mod configurations that half an hour ago worked perfectly.
It turned out in fact the culprit was Avast Antivirus …

I moved GAIST from Addon Linker custom folder,to the original Community folder and the problem is gone.

I do have Norton active and I already excluded Sim, its folders, opened the required ports for Xbox online services…
I really tried for days already and always freezing with GAIST only on my side… With it “off” works always well, with it “on” always freezes running a flight.
I’ll anyway monitor once a new version comes out giving a try again

Same issue here, and I’ve reinstalled the entire game.
No other add-on. No add-on linker. No antivirus.
Fingers crossed the next release won’t do this

I am using Addon Linker, I also have Norton, and I’m not having any problems with GAIST.

So far, no further freezing by installing GAIST without using an ad on linker. No idea why that would make any difference.

Just as a data point, I use GAIST with addon linker …and have no issues. Not sure what the differences are…
