Look at it this way.
Microsoft could have made some changes in a way that made the WT mod not available at all. That would have been entirely believable.
They didn’t break a working vanilla feature, they broke a 3rd party mod. MS/Asobo cannot possibly ensure compatibility with every 3rd party mod out there. That said, what they did do is ensure that the new avionics are pluggable.
WT and Navigraph have been talking about how to make the charts happen. It will ultimately be a plugin that is provided by Navigraph, similar to the charts panel. It is coming. It is coming in a way that is within reason for what MS can support in house, while having the plugin itself be Navigraph’s support problem. This is the best option for all companies involved. While it sucks for us for a while (and makes me repeatedly frustrated that the documentation that navigraph is waiting on is taking so long) it will leave the sim in a better spot in the end.
