Baron. I want to select a specific ICAO in the Garmin, I click on Direct button, this opens the option to scroll through the IVAO options, however this field just remains blank, so I cannot select any ICAO.
I had this with incompatible (outdated) mods.
Remove all mods and check again.
Thanks for the response, I don’t have any mods. Its a clean/vanilla install.
I also tried the Caravan, and DH62, TBM, Cessna Skylane, all have no data, its almost as if the table containing all the navigation data is empty
But can you scroll through the single characte/digits??
There is not just a list to select from, you need to enter the icao name with the scroll wheel.
I think you first need to press the knob, so the dashes are blinking, the you can change the characters with the inner knob and select the next “column” with the outer knob.
there are no single chars at all (to make up a ICAO) its just lines, see pic I uploaded.
It used to work before.
Yes lines… if you press the ‘fms’ knob, the top row uf lines begin blinking. The you turn the inner (small) knob of ‘fms’, which let’s you select the first character.
After setting the first char, you turn the outer knob to select the next dash (line), resp. ‘column’, then again the inner knob to select the char at that position, etc.
That’s the normal way to enter a direct on a empty flightplan.
If you already have a flight plan, you need to select the waypoint first (in the flightplan menu) an then press the ‘direct to’ button.
(ps: I refer to the popup at the bottom right of your left screen on your print screen).
