Hello Pilots,
For me, the displays remain without a background (black) in all aircraft with Garmin1000.
Can the associated file be defective and is there a link to download it?
Thanks for your help

Hi Bertsche07
I had this same problem but only for the Bonanza and the Caravan - the XCub and TBM were fine. For me, it appears the issue was with some mods I had installed - primarily the Bonanza performance mod, which was fine until the last couple of patches (there may be an updated version). Both black backgrounds are back to normal now.
The cockpit can also be affected by some livery mods, so if you have any mods installed, first step might be to remove them temporarily and see if that fixes things.
You likely installed the Garmin improvement mod and haven’t updated it.
This is what you can do:
- Go into your community folder and delete the folder called workingtitle-g1000
- Download the new, updated version of the mod and reinstall it.
Hello Crunchmeister71
Thank you very much for your hint. That was precisely the problem.
Quiet flight!
You’re welcome, good sir. Just make sure that every time there’s a game update that you go and download updated versions of mods. Sometimes you’ll have to wait a day or two for the mod developers to make the required changes. However, the team that make the G1000 and G3000 mods have been very responsive so far and typically push out an update within hours of the simulator update.
Enjoy your flight!
