WooHoo! A new rendition of Santa Barbara! This will be a day 1 purchase for me! I fly here IRL quite a bit!
Here is the announcement from their socials:
Welcome to California.
We’re excited to announce Santa Barbara Airport (KSBA), coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This one is all about the California experience. Pacific coastline, mountains right behind the airport, beautiful approaches, airline traffic, biz-jets and GA, all wrapped in an incredibly immersive environment with excellent surrounding TIN coverage.
KSBA is exactly the kind of airport we love: compact enough to make every corner feel handcrafted, but busy and varied enough to keep coming back to.
At Gaya, we now have multiple airport teams working in parallel. One team is focused on smaller and mid-sized airports like KSBA, while another is dedicated to major international hubs such as LOWW Vienna. LEMD Madrid is also progressing as part of that larger-airport pipeline.
California is calling. KSBA is coming soon.
