But a happy ending - couldn’t get the new stuff to install from Microsoft Store - so I bought a version from Steam - and after a 14hr download - I’m flying again. What a ride - I’ve installed this software so many times - GEEZE LOUISE WHAT A RIDE!!!

I just did the update (with an empty Community Folder) , then went to Content Manager to update modules and CTD. Tried to restart but am in a continuous loop where the screen just says ‘Checking for Updates’ 
I’ve been there. All I know is that after I switched to Steam, and reinstalled MSFS on my steam drive - it’s now working.
