Getting CTD's during approaches

Hello everyone, I keep getting CTD’s now, specially on approaches, not even into the biggest airports, sometimes like KFLL, KTPA and KMCO will crash the sim now, this was not happenning before, I did the most recent nvidia drivers update few days ago but now I noticed this major impact, I dont have the best computer ever but I think is decent enough to run the sim well, can anyone please help me out? my settings are below and my sim settings are between high and ultra, LOD at 100 nothing super high, thanks for any help,

computer settings are

12th GEN INTEL CORE i9 12900KF
3.2-5.2GHZ TURBO BOOST MAX 3.0
64GB DUAL CHANNEL DDR5 AT 4400MHZ
2TB M.2 SSD
NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB

Hi, have you tried removing all mods (Community Folder and Marketplace) to see if you still have the issue?

it could be related to an aircraft using a wrong variable such as “WINDSHIELD WIND VELOCITY” wich once it 's loaded when approaching an airport it lead to CTD as explain in this thread : Simvar WINDSHIELD WIND VELOCITY causes instant CTD with AI - MSFS DevSupport
an old version of the JPL C152 and one of the first version of the analog Steam gauge C208 by Black square were using this var …it has been fixed since

Maybe it’s still used by other mod I m not aware…

Best way is to first try with an empty community folder, if everything work fine, bring back 50% of your mods, if you got CTD → remove again 50% of these mods and repeat the process until you find wich part/mod cause the issue

do the test with both parts of the removed mods to, be sure there is not two colrupt… I m not sure if I have been clear in my explaination I hope so

That thread seems to indicate this was resolved in SU12.

indeed forgot about that, spoke about that to illustrate how CTD may be caused by factor hard to detect / imagine, and without isolating the colrupt factor, CTD symptoms may be misleading as it sound like to be related to a scenery while it was related to AI traffic in my case … I will skip all my debug protocol on the C208 I made to identify the faulty line code wich was very redundant process and time consuming compared to cleaning a community folder …
