Getting list of current key and button assignments

New to MSFS 2020 and my biggest problem right now is knowing what key or joystick button does what. Ideally, I’d like to print a list of all the key/button assignments. Saw a topic on this from three years ago but no real answer. Has MS added this ability since then? If not, do I have to resort to screenshots of each page of settings (ugh)?

I can live with the default assignments if need be, just would like to be able to hold a list in my hand.

My setup: PC w/64 GB RAM, Core i-9 processor, NVidia RTX4700. Thrustmaster 1600 joystick.

This comes up quite a bit, but no, there is no master list for peripherals.

There is however for keyboard.

Thank you. I can start with the default keyboard assignment list and markup as I make any changes. For the joystick buttons, I’ll just start with an Excel sheet and enter the information from the settings screens.

The reason why there is no Master List is that what the key or joystick buttons do
is what a person has them programmed (mapped in the Profile) to do.

There is not a “Master List”.
There are default “Profiles”.

For your T.16000 flight stick, here is a copy of my old T.16000 assignments.
Maybe it will help you.

I highly recommend FS2020 Control stand-alone program on flightsim.to. It looks at each control setup then creates a small database of all the configured controls and their assigned keybindings in order to create a PDF file or Excel file that can be sorted and filtered. This program does not make any changes to any MSFS files. I highly recommend this app because I no longer have to make screen prints of all my assigned keybindings.

I installed the program and ran, but it doesn’t seem to pick up the keyboard bindings, just the joystick bindings. But that is helpful, also recognizes profiles (which I forgot I setup).

I’m not sure why it isn’t showing your keyboard profiles. I have two keyboard profiles and it shows both as well as the profiles for all my devices.

I had to save keyboard settings to a new profile in order for it to show up in FS2020 Control. Thanks again for recommending this program. I will get a lot of use out of it.

look here: FS2020 Control para Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

I did release a spreadsheet version on Flightsim.to of the default keyboard settings and a blank one in excel format, it also has a PDF you can probably edit for your own settings. It has columns for controllers as well. MSFS 2020 Keybindings for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS
Going to start updating to a new version later tonight …
