Sometimes when trying to back to the menu after flying, i get stuck in the loading screen. Only way out is to force quit MSFS. It also happens with all addons disabled. A friend of mine has the same issue.
The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce. Using the template is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
What I found to stop my hanging is to exit Fullscreen .
It also stopped hanging on my exit from the sim. I now just use the “X” to exit and have had no more issues.
This is happening to me too and is infuriating! Fresh install of W11 and everything. Was going nuts trying to find other posts having this issue. And NO I have no addons in the community folder.
The loading bar stops at the same place as in your pic. It loads quickly (installed on 990 Pro SSD) and the abruptly stops there. I don’t care if I can ALT+F4, I don’t want to have to restart the sim everytime to start a new flight.
On the Steam version btw. I’m currently redownloading the “fs-base” package to see if maybe those files were downloaded incorrectly.
Same problem here. I use to play in VR and I thought that was the problem so I started to change to desktop mode before finish the flight but I have the same result. Using default planes and sceneries.
I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times now. No addons. I’d not mind except my logbook was not updated with my flight. Anyone know of a logbook editor tool that I can use to correct the entries the sim makes (or misses)?
