Sorry to close your post. I closed it because there is no foreseeable path where Asobo would revert to a previous version for everybody with whatever bugs and instability still persisted at the time, and undo all of the world updates and various improvements that have taken place.
My best suggestion would be that if there are specific things that you liked about that version, such as night lighting or tree LOD, you can search those particular items and vote them up.
If reverting back to everything that was part of 1.7.14 is still important after all of these months, you may want to vote for this topic with 2x more votes, which proposes being able to roll back to a previous patch version:
