I get a Glideslope warning on EGLL ILS9L with the PDMG 737 700 I have made 3 approaches one in APP mode disconnecting
at 1000ft, one at 300ft and finally a full CAT 3 auto land, each time i am on the slope (needles aligned, flight profile ok)
but I start to get a Glideslope warning. the PAPIs are 2 + 2 all the way down (at least on the CAT 3 Auto !!!)
Is there an issue between the Navigraph FMS data and MSFS at the moment?
fwiw I also get these glideslope warnings when I am “on profile” on many different airports.
I have no idea what is triggering them and I tend to now just ignore them- as long as it is a stable approach and I am happy with my altitude and rate of descent then I just chalk it up to one of the current “quirks” in the sim.
There appears to be a definite disconnect between what the ILS considers the profile path to be and what the runway papis consider the profile path to be… I tend to trust my eyes and make my own decisions if I am too high or too low. (In some cases I do suspect that for some custom airports, their elevations are out of sync with what navigraph considers to be the correct elevation.)
Hi I discovered that in my case I was in the PDMG 737 800 and hit the APP button too soon so I was not in an ILS approach but an IAN one which has a different glide slope so it appeared to be aligned, just not to the ILS!!! when i flew it again later I waited a little longer and hooked the ILS slope without any Glide Slope warnings!
