Glider and tow path

Hi all.
I’m a glider pilot and I usually use Condor fs… I’m now giving a chance to msfs2024 (glider flight model seems to be better than 2020).
I have a big problem : once the departure airport (or airfield) is set, the tow plane follows a straight path during takeoff. In reality, it would be more useful if it turned towards the mountains and gained altitude. As it is now, the tow plane doesn’t climb, and unless you start in the air already (I haven’t figured out how to set the starting altitude), it’s difficult to make sense of the flight.

Any suggestions?
Thanks !

Unfortunately as of today there is no such option, see related wish: Allow glider pilot to direct tug once airborne or nominate altitude and position for release before take-off

It may depend upon other factors such as which glider or towplane you choose, or which airport you start at. But I’ve had it tow me up taking a box shaped route, usually turning to the left.

I’m not sure why, but that’s been my experience. I usually fly the Discus S2C out of Princeville on Kauai with 172 towplane.
