GOD BLESS our little Sim problems - hear my horror story

Today i finally upgraded my pc with all final parts, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 96gb Knigston FUry 6000 DDR5 in proper 2 slots, New MSI AM5 board i forgot the name but it is on full uber quality  , and the 5 m2 2 tb disks ssd, plus as GPU Sapphire Nitro+ Radoen 7900xtx 24 gb vram .
I was uber happy until i get to work  : im working at Archicad 27 from Graphisoft a rather costly software around 3000 euro.
It all showed that i lost my freaking license due to motherboard upgrade, but all other programs worked fine. I almost got heart attack , trust me.
All ended good when i reinstalled their ■■■■ license management tool and Archicad started to recognize my new better pc  ufff. what a relief.
SO PLEASE! Stop whiniing about few planes missing or fps lost or less realism. I pretty almost died tonight as almost lost my work tool.
Now im flying in MFS and oh my god that setup is killer. I whole heartly recommend it also for MFS 2024 soon.

Moved to General Discussion.

License was most likely tied to the MAC (Media Access Control) address assigned to the built in NIC (Network Interface Controller) / Network card on your motherboard.

Not a very popular licensing option in terms of games, but commonly used by other software vendors.

And yes, becomes a bit of a pain when you replace the Motherboard, or if it’s a PCI NIC, replace that, etc…

Also seen users lose their licenses for various things when they have multiple NIC’s, license was generated against one, and for whatever reason, they disable that down the road and it can’t verify…

Glad you’re back up and running!
