I’ve noticed that when I have chrome open I can get those sound stuttering CTDs when I’ve got open, say a Simbrief flight plan or Windy.com.
I noticed it did that a few times with P3D v4.5 as well.
If you have issues might wanna close it before taking off?
Yeah, browsers can be great for causing stutters even if there is no video on the page so sometimes I have to restart a browser but not often.
As for CTDs, they shouldn’t cause that but I guess if a system is less stable than mine it possible it could CTD. A lot of gamers like living on the edge of performance and tweaks, and I bet many of those are the ones with the CTDs.
120 hours of play so far. Not one CTD. Though I only fly the GA machines, maybe the heavies can cause them.
