GPU not utilized after update

I even tried to put the rendering scale from 100 to 200. ( so rendering at 6880-2880) but still only 7% gpu load… yes with less frame rate. 22 or so.

I still say the GPU load is completely incorrect (and therefore irrelevant).

It’s worth mentioning that I caught Task Manager showing 15% GPU load at the same time MSI Afterburner showed a much more likely (given the load) 80%, so if Task Manager is your source…

There’s no way it’s correct, anyhow. It would imply your GPU could render the sim at 55 fps / 9% = 611 fps before you’re GPU bound.

I understand. And yes 600fps would be unrealistic. But the fact is that this anomaly is in place after the last update.

Try MSI Afterburner or something else. My issue with showing 15% at high load was in X-Plane, so it’s not MSFS specific even though the issue may have appeared there recently.

The solution… game mode on and gpu with hardware acceleration to on. My gpu is back to life in the windows taskmanager.
