Graphical glitch - artifacts in light beam

Hi,

Since SU5 i’ve noticed that all lights which shine on a surface (ground or aircraft fuselage) produce some strange artefacts and flicker relentlessly. I’ve attached some screenshots. Nothing wrong with my GPU which has been tested in other games where i cannot replicate the issue.

My community folder was emptied before installing the update and I’m only running the fbw neo.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Absolutely. It’s a mess. Your flashlight beam will also do it. 2070 Super latest drivers.

SU 5 Hotfix today (7/30). Not fixed. Took off with taxi lights on at dusk and everything looked fine. Flew about 1 hour. Landing in complete darkness, artifacts are still there.

Same here, sorry started duplicate thread.

Yep, problem still exists for me

Same here, any cast light seems to end up in blocks from certain angles

Add me to the pot - weird “light blocks” at random since the last update. Never experienced anything like this before. RTX2080Ti.

As mentioned in another thread, rolling back nvidia driver to 466.77 seems to solve this.

Nvidia drivers used to be dependable, I just noticed this today and guess what I updated last night before bed time, even using the Dev version which is supposed to have less bugs.

Gonna roll back thanks for figuring this out.

Is this still a problem with 471.41 with SU5HF2?

Edit: just checked and unfortunately yes, it is still a problem so rolling back to 466.77 AGAIN…

same here… must be a SU5 issue
