Graphical Glitches since SU5

Hi, sadly after updating to SU5 I’ve got some annoying graphical glitches when panning/moving around.
It looks like TAA ghosting but in a flickering manner. Most apparent in the cockpit and on trees.
It’s more or less unplayable now for me. I’ve updated everything, content manager as well. Nothing in the community folder. My PC: i9-9900k / RTX2080ti / 16GB 3200 RAM. All drivers up to date. Hopefully there is a workaround for that.

What I’ve noticed as well the clouds are somewhat downgraded? It looks like they got some sort of compression like DXT3/5. Color banding is pretty much noticeable now. Doesn’t look good to me. Such compression algorithms (if any) shouldn’t be present on ultra settings.

I’m getting the same, very blocky pixelated ghosting when panning around with Track IR, very noticeable in the cockpit. I do have some mods in the community folder but I don’t think they have anything to do with this,

That issue is caused by Render Scaling. Use Native render scaling (100%) and it goes away.
It needs a fix tho…

It’s already set to 100%. Sadly this doesn’t help in my case.

I may found a fix for this. In the Nvidia Control Panel disable Gamma correction. It looks now much better, no more heavy ghosting. Quite a relief :slight_smile:

I keep seeing render scaling… out of curiosity where is this changed? in game or nvidia panel.

I’m a tech noob go easy! :slight_smile:

It’s in the game options slightly below the resolution selection.

Thank you so much, can confirm this has also fixed it for me, obviously need asobo to fix the issue though, shouldn’t be having to change nvidia settings away from default to not have a horrible bug.

@MorpheuszG No, it’s back sadly! Worked perfectly on my first flight test but back straight away this time…

I had the same, putting AA to DLAA fixed this
