Graphics settings for 4090

I struggle with reading the instruments (Glass). I fly the CJ4/Longitude/A320/TBM. My graphics are great with the new 4090 but what can I adjust to make the cockpit clearer ??

Are you using DLSS? That’s most likely the cause… use TAA for antialiasing.

That helped … anymore tweaks ??

Unfortunately, using TAA is as “good as it gets” when it comes to MSFS and glass panels.

It’s better … I’m using tobii and I have in the past popped out my PFD to another monitor to get a clearer view of all the data (nav mode/alt/FMS mode etc) With tobii, when I look over at the 2nd screen, obviously it tracks the turn of my head. Someone suggested binding a simple key on my hotas to disable headtracking momentarily. I do like the PFD (and sometimes MFD) popped out so it’s very legible. I have a touchscreen with Air Manager but using that for the true “touch” buttons/dials etc. Most PFD and MFD are read only so they don’t have to be on my touch screen.

I too have Tobii - it’s good, but also has disadvantages (trying entering a flight plan with head tracking, lol)

I added Shift-F12 bind to “reset” my head tracking and that’s been a life saver. Try it!

When you say “reset” do you mean reposition to a default view ?? I have that too. What I’m hoping to do is bind an easy to get to key on my hotas where I can “disable” head tracking when I have to look over at 1 of the side monitors (like my touchscreen). I guess I need to “toggle” it so I can get back to it easily.

Oh! Misunderstood. But yes, I have a button on my Hotas, too, that disables it when I don’t want tobii to be on, then I click the same button to turn it back on when I want it!

man I cannot get rid of the stutter !!! I watched 2 YT videos and they even addressed the nvidia settings and no joy. I tried the default MSFS settings to make sure I didn’t have stuff set too high and no help so it has to be something with my nvidia settings ?? Not sure where to go from here.

It may be OnAir running ??? I tried it w/o OnAir running and it seemed smooth. Guess I need to look there.

Someone suggested “hardware rendering” in OnAir might be affecting MSFS negatively ??

I am unfamiliar with what OnAir is?

sorry … It’s a game (airline manager) like Air Hauler 2 and FSEconomy. You take jobs and fly cargo/passengers and make money. kinda fun.
